The town of Bridgeville is an unincorporated town in Humboldt County. In 2002 the town became famous for being the first in history to be put up for auction on eBay. Businessman, Bruce Krall bought Bridgeville for $700,000. In 2006 Krall put Bridgeville up for sale again for a starting price of $1.75 million, which includes three cows, eight houses, and a post office.
