Brief History of Eagle Rock, CA
The cozy district of Eagle Rock is bordered by the city of Glendale on the north and west, Highland Park on the south, and the cities of Pasadena and South Pasadena on the east. Eagle Rock derives its name from a geological feature on a boulder at the district’s northern edge. The rock contains an indentation which casts a bird shaped shadow at certain times of the day. There are people who claim to see the entire head of the an eagle, while others simply see the bird shaped shadow.
